Incoherent rambling makes perfect sense if you keep at it long enough.

Life

Yeah, yeah, I know. It's been a long time and I hope to be better at updating. Especially for those of you who actually enjoy reading my journals.

Life has been crazy. It seems like there is so much more to worry about these days. Hopefully things will get better sooner than later. I'm loving the new layout here. I think it's gotten so much better than when I joined way back in 2000, or was it 2001. I never thought I'd be here for this long. Surprise. Anyhow, I'm planning on being more active here like I used to be...as some of you may have noticed.

I might be moving again in May. I hope I don't have to but I'm seriously thinking about it. Just preparing for 'just in case' scenarios.

I'm still in my same position at work. At this point I'm just thankful I still have a job and my company hasn't closed like a lot of others. I'm also preparing for a 'just in case' scenario here as well.

No significant other at the moment...you guys are just too much trouble. Plus I haven't found someone that I'd want to spend that much time with. The exception being someone who lives half way across the country. Funny how that works.

Ironically, it seems that a few of my friends and one of my sisters seem to think I need to have a significant other and all have taken on the responsibility of trying to find me one. It's actually kind of funny.

I definitely need a new ID. That one is too old. I think I liked my first one better. I need something...better. Anyone want to volunteer to help? Please.

I haven't finished my first drawing on my Wacom and already I'm working on another. I haven't done any writing and almost no drawings for the past 15 months. Life has been busy. I'll have to work on that.

I'm commenting more but not as much as I would like to and I'm back to faving some interesting pieces.

I'll be going through my favorites and cleaning them up quite a bit. My tastes have changed and I'd like my favorites to reflect that as well so don't feel bad if I remove a work of yours that I had recently added to my favorites. I'll also be cleaning up my watch list soon.

I've seen some wonderful new stuff but it feels like most of it has already been done, I've seen it before, or...to be honest, it just doesn't grab my attention.

I'm no longer featuring individuals. I've decided to go with a theme since that gets more people some exposure.

I have been doing more with my camera. I'm not a photographer but I think it's something that I really want to get into seriously. I always have a camera with me but have never thought about learning more about photography until recently. I've posted a few pics in my scraps. I've added the thumbnails below. I'd really love to hear what you think about them.

mI have played around with getting a digital SLR but, since I really don't know all that much about them I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out which one to get. This will not be something that I'll change my mind about so I want to invest in a great camera. Anyone that has any advice on this, I would really appreciate your input.
